Spoon carving
I got a set of woodcarving knives this year, and I’ve been enjoying experimenting with different hardwoods. I also had no idea that I’d spend almost as much time sharpening my knives as carving. It’s a nice break from screens, and there’s nothing better than putting that first coat of oil on the spoon and seeing the color of the wood shine through.
